As we reflect back on the pandemic and how it affected us all, yet again we are confronted with another crisis, reminding us that we have to remember what it means to be human, and that peace is something that we have to constantly strive for.

Poetic dance film Open Up Close time travels to our collective consciousness during the height of global lockdown as pandemic restrictions lift.

Created by choreographers Daniela Cardim and Peter Leung in collaboration with creative writer Julia-Beth Harris, the film explores a concept which spans three continents and several generations emphasising the red thread of isolation that tied us all together.

Find yourself in the words as they break into movement and look back at the ways we have transformed as the world opens up.

Created via Zoom and filmed with mobile phones.
